Founded in 1989, Compagnie des Alpes (CDA), the current European leader in the leisure sector, operates the biggest ski resorts in the French Alps besides a range of exciting leisure destinations all over Europe.

Firmly rooted in the local region and backed by loyal partners and 5,000 committed employees, Compagnie des Alpes develops responsible, innovative and sustainable projects that challenge standard ways of thinking. For many years now, CDA has been pursuing its key mission of offering an unforgettable leisure experience to a maximum number of people through an integrated approach combining operational excellence with top quality service, focusing on three areas: the appeal of its locations, Very High Customer Satisfaction and profitable business.

With the support of its long-standing shareholders, CDA launches FRM, intended to renovate 500 lodges (approx. 2,500 beds) within three years and market them to skiers.

Strategic change and intensification

The Very High Level of Customer Satisfaction (TGS) becomes the governing principle of the leisure parks' strategy. 
For the first time, CDA publishes its target figures to the market (guidance). 
The Leisure Destinations Division is reorganised.

Increased capabilities of CDA Management in China, Russia and Japan, for ski resorts and leisure parks

In Russia, CDA completes the master plans of three ski resorts and a leisure park in Moscow. In China, the Group helps the Chinese authorities for the première of Thaiwoo. In Japan, the strategic partnership with the Mac Earth group is continued.
