Founded in 1989, Compagnie des Alpes (CDA), the current European leader in the leisure sector, operates the biggest ski resorts in the French Alps besides a range of exciting leisure destinations all over Europe.

Firmly rooted in the local region and backed by loyal partners and 5,000 committed employees, Compagnie des Alpes develops responsible, innovative and sustainable projects that challenge standard ways of thinking. For many years now, CDA has been pursuing its key mission of offering an unforgettable leisure experience to a maximum number of people through an integrated approach combining operational excellence with top quality service, focusing on three areas: the appeal of its locations, Very High Customer Satisfaction and profitable business.

The Group strives to tailor its offering as closely as possible to the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders alike. CDA awarded World's Best Ski Resort Group 2022

Awarded for the very first time at the 10th edition of the World Ski Awards, this prize recognises the passion and commitment of all the employees and delegates of its 10 ski areas as well as the know-how and excellence of the entire French mountain industry.

CDA signs an agreement to acquire 85% of MMV

(Juin 2022)

Second operator of club hotels and residences in the french Alps, MMV operates 20 hotels and club residences in 16 resorts and owns real estate assets valued at 94,2 M€.
In acquiring a 85% equity interest in MMV, Compagnie des Alpes would significantly strengthen its capacity to contribute to expanding the booking of lodgings and its contribution to improving the customer experience and the mountain offering, winter and summer.

CDA accelerates its Net Zero Carbone trajectory in its moutain areas

(April 2022)

Compagnie des Alpes announces the immediate reduction of 72% of its Greenhouse Gases by eliminating fossil fuels for its snow groomers from winter 2022-2023.
Since June 1, 2021, the Group has set itself the goal of achieving Net Zero Carbon by 2030. Other projects include local carbon sequestration with the ONF, tests of electric buses in Val d'Isère and Tignes, Travelski Express, etc.

Second consecutive year "1st prize for the most credible companies"

For the second year running, Compagnie des Alpes has distinguished itself for its communication by receiving the 1st prize for "Most Credible Companies" in the Entertainment / Sport category.
This trophy rewards the actions deployed on a daily basis by all the Group's teams and sites to create and maintain a lasting bond of trust, each at his or her own level and scale, with our customers, our partners and all our ecosystems.

CDA : 20 years of leaisure parks

With several million visitors each year, 220 attractions in 12 high-profile parks, 80 restaurants and cafés, 74 shops, 5 themed hotels and nearly 5,000 employees at the height of the season, CDA is today a major player and the only French group of its size in the global theme park sector.
In 20 years, thanks to the unique know-how, creativity and agility of its teams, the Group has contributed to revolutionising the experience in leisure parks, with the ambition of making each of its sites a reference in its territory.
