In 2011, the Grévin production workshops were launched alongside the opening of Grévin Montréal, for which the workshops created over 100 wax figures in a year and a half.
Modelling, moulds, hair, make-up, costumes, accessories and sets – Les Ateliers Grévin brings the Grévin brand’s historic legacy to life (Grévin Paris, Grévin Montréal and Chaplin’s World in Switzerland) as well as external commissions. The teams and the various wax moulds are housed in a building in the 13th district of Paris, comprising a 660-sqm space and a warehouse.
In true recognition of its art, in 2017 Les Ateliers Grévin was awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) stamp of excellence.
The wax figure workshop produces unique creations by combining traditional practices with modern 3D technologies.
